Melford Laboratories Ltd. is a privately owned Company, which lies in the heart of Suffolk, 15 miles north west of Ipswich. The Company was founded in 1985, moving to its present 8,000 sq. ft. site in 1987. We have a well-equipped production facility and R & D laboratory within our 4,000 sq ft main plant.

Although we are best known for our Fluoro chemistry, our chemists have extensive backgrounds in all types of organic synthesis, consequently our expertise is not restricted solely to this field. Our technology has been highly developed over many years and the Company has methodology for the manufacture of numerous compound types, including Phenylacetic acids, Glycosides, Aminobenzoic acids, Nitrobenzoic acids, Benzaldehydes, Hydroxybenzaldehydes, Acetophenones, Benzeneboronic acids, Phenols, Sulphonyl chlorides, Pyridines and Indoles.

We carry many items in stock but we also manufacture to order, our priority is to provide competitive pricing and short lead times wherever possible.
