Since our formation in 1968, Ethox Chemicals has built its reputation in the industry by delivering quality products and personalized service to our diverse customer base. A privately held company with about 190 employees, Ethox is part of the Syntha Group family of companies. Our USA-based manufacturing facility is proudly located on a 45-acre site in Donaldson Industrial Park, Greenville, South Carolina.

Ethox has a fully implemented statistical quality control (SQC) program to measure and improve the quality of manufacturing processes and products. We are also ISO 9001:2015 certified, signifying that our management system, manufacturing process, service, and documentation procedures have all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance. Ethox maintains a biological waste-water treatment facility on-site and has won numerous awards for its commitment to protecting the environment.
Innovative, Responsive, and Reliable
Our diverse range of equipment allows Ethox to deliver innovation while being a responsive and reliable partner. Ethox facilities house eight alkoxylation reactors – ranging from 800 to 6,500 gallons, two esterification reactors – 2,500 and 7,500 gallons, two phosphation reactors, two x 40 ft belt flakers for supersacs and drums. In addition, our fully equipped pilot plant includes three alkoxylation reactors (2-liter, 1 gallon, 15 gallon) and an esterification reactor (30 gallon). Our manufacturing facility operates 24/7, boosts rail siding capabilities, and offers our customers 300,000 gallons of bulk storage.
