Metadynea Austria GmbH was founded in 1948 and well known as "KremsChemie" for more than 50 years. In 2001 the company was renamed to "Dynea Austria GmbH" and in 2013 it was acquired by Metafrax Group, the leading producer of Methanol in Russia.

In our state of the art production facilities we manufacture approx. 300.000 tons of resins per year for all wood based panels as well as impregnation and insulation resins + adhesives and hardeners for interior and exterior wood applications.

The Austrian site in Krems functions as important Product Development and Technical Service Competence Center with well educated and experienced specialists.

Based on its own developed skills in dehydrogenation and dehydratisation, Metadynea is a leading provider of High Purity Fine Chemicals (H.P. product line). The combination of innovative technology and experience in complex rectification leads to products which are well established in various applications like pharma, agro, colorants and fragrance.Decades of practical knowledge transforming methanol to formaldehyde, Metadynea produces n-aldehydes out of respective n-alcohols.

Using dehydrogenation / dehydratisation as key technology Metadynea offers some rare specialties dedicated to customers purpose-built demand.

Metadynea also develops, produces and sells Halogen free Flame Retardants for a wide range of applications. Driven by ecology and human health issues, a new generation of efficient products was developed in close cooperation with industry stake holders to meet their requirements. Own patents for molecules with sophisticated properties will ensure the high efficiency of our products.
